Genesis Healthcare System is Opening new Rehabilitation Facility

ZANESVILLE – Genesis Outpatient Rehabilitation will be at a building that was formerly a “Big Lots” near “Northern Lights Imaging” on Maple Avenue. Planning for the new center began more than a year ago and it is slated to open this Fall.

“We do feel that there are other services that we can build upon and offer with a better environment. Way finding in this facility is a little challenging. We also have been a little cramped in space at times because we’re growing so our new facility will offer new space and an opportunity for us to grow,” Genesis’ Outpatient, Rehab, and Therapy Manager Lisa Lynn said.

Genesis feels the location within the shopping center is very much to their advantage.

“It’s a prime location. We feel like it’s going to give people an easy access. It has great parking and it’s going to give us an opportunity to use some of the other Genesis locations and help them navigate through Zanesville in a much more mindful manner.

The Health System is ready for a change as its current facility is over 30 years old.
