Ohio Governor Mike DeWine held his daily coronavirus briefing Wednesday in Columbus and he announced that 4.1 million pieces of personal protective equipment will be heading to county emergency management agencies for distribution to nursing homes, hospitals, jails and first responders. That includes 500,000 N95 respirators. The Governor also talked about high school graduations. He says social distancing and keeping social distancing practices must be followed. There cannot be mass gatherings. DeWine says some options include virtual graduation or drive-in ceremonies at a designated location at a designated time to receive diplomas. He also said he is concerned with graduation parties which can post a greater risk than a graduation ceremony. The guideline of not more than 10 people should be applied in there cases. There are 16,601 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio and 856 deaths.
