Governor DeWine: First Ohioan Dies of Coronavirus

Governor Mike DeWine held his daily Coronavirus briefing Friday and announce that the first Ohioan died of the virus. The Governor identified the man as Mark Wagoner Sr. He was a prominent attorney in Toledo.
DeWine says with Wagoner’s death the state has entered a new phase in the fight against coronavirus. There are 169 confirmed cases of COVID19 in the buckeye state and they span across 22 of Ohio’s 88 counties.
Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton says that they are seeing a lot of younger people getting sick, so the issue must be taken seriously.
The Governor also announced that all senior centers will close by the end of business on Monday.
DeWine admonished businesses in the state that are not complying with his orders over the last two weeks. He said the reckless behavior must stop.
