Governor DeWine: Nearly 60% of Ohio Required to Wear Masks in Public including Licking County

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine Thursday announced that as of 6:00 pm Friday all Red Alert Level 3 counties will be under a mask order, meaning nearly 60 percent of the population of Ohio will be required to wear masks in public. That includes Licking County which has moved into the Red Alert Level.
The Governor said while some cases in Licking County have come from long -term care facilities, almost three-fourths of the cases have come from outside congregate settings, indicating significant community spread. Local officials also note a small outbreak at a house of worship.
Muskingum, Perry and Coshocton Counties remained at Orange Alert Level 2. Morgan, Noble and Guernsey Counties remained at Yellow Alert Level 1.
DeWine says in all 19 Ohio counties are in the Red Alert Level 3, including most of Central Ohio including Franklin County.
