Grace UM Church Block Party Sunday

ZANESVILLE, Ohio– On Sunday Grace United Methodist Church will be hosting their 26th annual Block Party.
Grace United Methodist Church is located on Shinnick Street in downtown Zanesville. The church is inviting everyone for worship at 10 a.m. and the block party at 11:15 a.m.
“This year we are excited to announce that 2×2 will be providing entertainment following our worship service,” Pastor Mark Chow
said. “They are going to be playing during our lunch time.”
“It has grown from a small little picnic to about 350 people,” Outreach Committee, Co-chair Cynthia Tuck said.
“As a celebration of the end of the summer also as an outreach to the community,” Outreach Committee, Co-chair Susan Tyson said. “We encourage everyone to come to our 10 am service as well as our lunch afterward.”
The free event will feature music, food, fun, fellowship, and giveaways.
“We will have activities for children including face painting, side walk chalk, a bounce house. We’ll also have a health fair, things like blood pressure checks and glucose screenings,” Pastor Chow said.
Everyone is encouraged to come even those of different denominations.
