Hallowell Facing Charges

Justin Hallowell is being held in the Noble County Jail after a Saturday incident at 217 Bridge Street.

The Noble County Sheriff’s Office said deputies made contact with a caller that advised Hallowell had attacked his mother and a neighbor before retreating to his nearby apartment.

Deputies responded to Hallowell’s apartment where he opened his door and sprinted towards a deputy and proceeded to attack unprovoked.

Following the brief altercation he was subdued and taken into custody.

Hallowell has been charged with assault on a peace officer, assault and domestic violence.

He remains jailed on a $50,000 bond.
