West Muskingum Tornadoes Look for Success with New Coach

ZANESVILLE, OH- The West Muskingum Tornadoes Softball Team will be taking the field with a new coach. First-year West Muskingum Head Coach Josh Bobo will hope to lead the Tornadoes to success in his first year.

He says his team has been working hard during the offseason and have been improving as they prepare for the start of their regular season, which is right around the corner.

West Muskingum has a mix of veteran players as well as young newcomers who look to make a contribution this year. As a new coach, Bobo says he looks to add his own principles into the foundation of the program.

“I mean we have a culture of accountability that we’re trying to instill and we really haven’t had too many issues there the girls bought in pretty quickly. There’s some little things that we remind them of that they’re not just used to so anytime a new coaching staff comes in I feel like it’s going to be a learning curve but the girls are catching up quick,” said Bobo.

The West Muskingum Tornadoes will be starting their regular season on Saturday.
