Holidays arrive at Winerak

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Stores are full of special treats for the holidays and one local store is stocking their shelves for winter.

Winerak Customer Service Representative Brody Warden said they are starting to see more holiday and winter beers. He said winter beers are usually a little heavier than summer or fall ales.

“Holiday beers are typically darker and more of like a brown or a stout style beer,” said Warden. “They have holiday spices in them, so like orange peel, coriander, cinnamon, ginger, those are pretty typical when it comes to holiday ales.”

Warden said there are many different types of brews to try from local micro-brews to state-wide and nation-wide beers. He said that no matter what people choose to drink, be it wine, beer, or spirits, it’s important to remember never drink and drive.

“If anybody’s out celebrating with family or friends absolutely take advantage of a ride-sharing service, never drink and drive, always arrange to get from point A to point B safely,” said Warden.

Warden hopes everyone can have a fun holiday season and enjoy the time with family and friends.
