House fire on Maysville Pike

NEWTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio–Mulitple crews have responded to a house fire in Newton Township

The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2821 Maysville Pike.

When crews arrived on the scene the back of the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters from Newton Township, South Zanesville , Zanesville, and Falls Township were called to the scene.

Authorities have closed the portion of Maysville Pike around the fire scene.
