Huntington Bank Car Accident

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – December 9, 2016 Five people were transported to Genesis HealthCare following a Jeep crashing into the Huntington Bank on Maysville Pike.
South Zanesville Police Department, Chief Eric Finley says the elderly woman was parked in front of the bank when her foot slipped off the break and onto the accelerator causing the vehicle to drive through the front of the bank and straight into one of the back offices.
Finley says there seems to be no signs of impairment, the driver and her four passengers didn’t have life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital ‘because of the nature to the crash.”
The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and the Zanesville Fire Department also responded to the accident.
There were no patrons inside the bank at that time and Finley says the bank is structurally fine it’s mainly cosmetic damage.
The Huntington Bank is currently closed and Finley says he thinks it will be closed for at least a few days.
