I-70 West shutdown near SR 93 exit due to several accidents

UPDATE:(5:10) The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that I-70 westbound lanes are now open.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The State Highway Patrol is reporting that Interstate-70 West is closed just west of the State Route 93 exit due to two separate accidents.

Lt. Matt Boyd with the Zanesville Post said just before 3:00 p.m. Thursday, troopers were called to the scene of two different crashes involving a semi and multiple other vehicles on I-70 West near Mile Marker 156.

Boyd said no injuries have been reported at this time.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said the detour set up is U.S. 22/40 exit 157 .
