Ihlenfeld’s goal moves West Muskingum to district semi-finals

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The seventh seeded Tornadoes of West Muskingum entered Wednesday’s match with Rosecrans as the higher seeded team but left with a 1-0 victory to keep their season alive.

West M sophomore Kaleb Ihlenfeld scored the game’s only goal with 10 minutes to play in the first half. Senior goalie Ian Myers had several impressive stops to keep the Bishops off the scoreboard.

West M moves on to the district semi-finals and they will play second seeded Hiland on Tuesday.
