JG Takes 3rd in River View Invitational

John Glenn’s 353 finish was enough to give them the third spot in Wednesday’s River View Invitational.

The tournament featured 12 teams on the Hickory Flats Course.

The Muskies finished behind first-place Garaway with 334 and second place Tusky Valley with 352.

John Glenn’s Gracie Milam shot 81 to finish fourth overall for John Glenn, while Addy Burris shot an 87, Abby McCullough an 88 and Elise Abrams rounded out the scoring with a 97.

River View placed seven with 414. Paige Nicely led the Lady Bears with an 83, while Caily Shriver and Chloey Geog both added 104s and Kiera McPeck finished with 123.

Sheridan junior varsity sat in the ninth spot with a 429, as Ryan Satterfield shot 103, Adi Calendine added 108 and Kaitlyn Mattis and Abby Riffle109s.

Tri-Valley finished 10th on the day with 434. Makayla Hutchison led the Scotties with an 85, while Kate Burkhart finished with 104, Audrey Gee had 121 and Ali Wood added 124.

New Philadelphia’s Sydney Devore earned medalist honors by shooting 74.
