Fink’s Full Court Press 2-18: West Muskingum Falls at Home; John Glenn Wins on Senior Night

GAME #1: WEST MUSKINGUM TORNADOES VS. BUCKEYE TRAIL WARRIORS
ZANESVILLE, OH- Our first game of the night took us to west Muskingum as the tornadoes hosted the buckeye trail warriors in boys basketball.
Nathan Davis got the scoring started for West Muskingum with a deep three-pointer. Garrett Burga of Buckeye Trail would respond with a couple quick buckets as both teams had early scoring chances.
The Tornadoes and Warriors traded scores until the momentum went toward Buckeye Trail and they went on a run to give themselves a lead midway through the first half.
This one came down to the end but it was the Buckeye Trail Warriors getting the win over West Muskingum 59-54.
GAME #2: JOHN GLENN MUSKIES VS. PHILO ELECTRICS
The Electrics did all they could to try and match the energy but the Muskies never looked back after the first quarter and left tonight with a victory beating Philo 56-46.
Philo would respond with Owen Smith getting a tough floater but John Glenn went on attack mode and got out to a comfortable lead.
Avery Parmer was key for the Muskies in the win as he scored early on and made plays for John Glenn while Nathan Walker led the team in scoring with 17 points in the win.
