John Glenn’s Hatfield heads to Marietta

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – John Glenn senior Kendyl Hatfield always knew that she wanted to play softball in college and now she’ll get that opportunity.

Hatfield signed her letter of intent to play softball Wednesday at Marietta College in front on dozens of friends, family, and team mates. She picked Marietta from a number of different DIII schools, but said that it felt like the best fit.

“It means the world to me. Playing softball all my life, it has been my world. Playing at the next level will be really fun for me,” said Hatfield.

Hatfield was a second team all-MVL selection for the Little Muskies last season. She thanked her family and team mates for helping her get this far.
