Johnston named D-VII Defensive Player of the Year
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Rosecrans linebacker Travis Johnston was honored for his outstanding season on the gridiron by winning D-VII Defensive Player of the Year.

The senior captain tallied 135 total tackles, forced seven fumbles and caught three interceptions. On offense, he rumbled his way to more than 1,400 yards and 21 scores.
Johnston earned first team All-Ohio honors for the second time in as many years.
