Lady Scotties a win away from final four

DRESDEN, Ohio – Despite starting the year 2-4, the Tri-Valley Lady Scotties are a win away from reaching the final four for the fifth time in school history.

The Dawgs lost their first two games of the year and four of their first six, but then rebounded and only lost two games the rest of the year to win a share of the MVL title. Tri-Valley beat top seeded Bishop Hartley on Tuesday 43-38 to advance to the regional finals.

The Lady Scotties will take on second seeded Miami Trace Friday at Zanesville High School. Game will tip at 7:30 p.m. and you can listen to play-by-play on WHIZ 92.7.
