Licking County Crime Stoppers looking for two involved in Ross County murder

NEWARK, Ohio – Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone that has information that leads to the arrest of two men wanted for a Ross County murder.

Ross County Sheriff’s Office has issued warrants for the arrest of 36-year-old James Nelson II and 38-year-old Jesse Hanes. They are wanted to for the murder of 62-year-old Theodore Timmons of Londonderry, Ohio.

Nelson is describing as 5’7” tall and 165 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. Hanes is described as 6’0” tall and 195 lbs. with blonde hair and green eyes.

Nelson has ties to the Newark area and a car that is believed to be used by the men was found on Aug. 2 in Newark. They are both thought to be armed and extremely dangerous.
