Little Muskies outlast Maysville in fast-paced game

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It was a game that had the emotion and environment of a tournament game and Maysville used that to their advantage to take John Glenn to the wire.

Both teams came out extremely fast and John Glenn held a two-point lead at the break. The second half was just as action-packed, but John Glenn held on to win 59-54.

The Little Muskies keep pace for the top spot in the Muskingum Valley League. They are now 7-1 in the MVL, right behind Tri-Valley who is 8-1. The Panthers are now 4-6 in the MVL and all of their losses this year have come in conference play.

Justin Heacock lead three Little Muskies who were in double figure with 17 points. Carson Jarrett knocked in 14 for Maysville.
