Local teen passed away
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local teenager who was involved in a serious car accident last December has passed away.
17-year-old Emma Barry died on Saturday surrounded by her family.
Barry was a junior at Bishop Rosecrans High School where she was involved in several sports including soccer, volleyball, and cheerleading.
Since the accident seven months ago, the community has rallied together to show their support for Barry and her family holding numerous fundraisers and benefits in her honor.
Visiting hours will be held 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday July 24th at the North Terrace Church of Christ.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday July 25th at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
