A local woman shares her love of Christmas

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â A local woman transforms her home into a winter wonderland.
For the last eight years, Michelle Dobbins has continued her family tradition of decorating her home with Christmas lights. For the last three years she’s even gotten special visits from Mr. Christmas himself.
“I like to give back,” Dobbins said. “There’s a lot of people that don’t have anything at Christmas time. I like to be able to put smiles on the kids’ faces especially. Bringing Santa is a big joy to the kids and also it’s a big joy to my heart.”
This Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Santa will be at 306 Lucia Court with gifts in hand for all the kids. There will also be baked goods and hot chocolate.
“It’s just a wonderful feeling to be able to give back to the community today,” Dobbins said.
Dobbins said this event will take place regardless of the weather. The lights will be up until the first week in January. Dobbins invites everyone to come and check out her light display.
