A look at the unofficial football playoff rankings

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – When it comes to looking at who is in and who is out of the OHSAA football playoffs, joeeitel.com isn’t the official source for the computer rankings, but it’s an awfully good tool to use.
With only two weeks left in the regular season a lot of fans will anxiously await the official computer rankings that will be released by the OHSAA on Tuesday. We’ve complied a list of the teams who are still fighting for the playoffs. The following list shows where each area team still in the playoff races ranks in their region, their record, if they control their own destiny, and their two remain opponents on the season.
The top eight teams in each region at the end of the season will make the post season.
D3 Region 11
-5th Tri-Valley, 7-1 – Does not control own destiny (vs. West Muskingum & at Maysville)
-7th Granville, 7-1 – Does not control own destiny (vs. Licking Valley & at Watkins Memorial)
-13th Maysville, 6-2 – Does not control own destiny (vs. Coshocton & vs. Tri-Valley)
D4 Region 15
-2nd Licking Valley, 8-0 – Controls own destiny (at Granville & vs. Licking Heights)
-5th John Glenn, 6-2 – Does not control own destiny (vs. New Lexingotn & at Crooksville)
-7th Meadowbrook, 6-2 – Does not control own destiny (vs. St. Thomas Aquinas & vs. Cambridge)
-8th Philo, 5-3 – Does not control own destiny (vs. Morgan & at New Lexington)
D5 Region 18
-12th Ridgewood, 6-2 – Does not control own destiny (at Claymont & vs. Newcomerstown)
D6 Region 23
-4th Shenandoah, 7-1 – Does not control own destiny (vs. Fort Frye & at Caldwell)
-14th Crooksville, 4-4 – Does not control own destiny (at Sheridan & vs. John Glenn)
