Man Charged in Coshocton Home Invasion
A Coshocton area man faces charges in connection to a Monday home invasion in Coshocton.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said 29-year-old Joseph Brewer was formally charged with aggravated burglary.
Authorities said that on Monday just after 9pm the sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to a home invasion in the 400 block of North 8th Street.
An investigation determined, Brewer had kicked in the door to the residence and assaulted the male and female inside, intending to rob them.
The male victim was transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center and then to Grant Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
The female victim was treated at the scene and released.
The case remains under investigation.
