Man Pulled From Moxahala Creek

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – At approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, Muskingum County Sheriffs, South Zanesville Police, and South Zanesville Fire Department responded to reports of a man falling into the Moxahala Creek. The accident occurred in the Moxahala Creek where it splits off from the Muskingum River.

Authorities were near the Muddy Boot Bar and Grill on Old River Road. A deputy with the Muskingum County Sheriff said a man was pulled from the creek and transported to the hospital. Sheriffs could not speculate on the severity of the injury or how he fell into the water. The accident is still under investigation and more details are to come later tonight.
