Many find new Center for Seniors more convenient

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Wednesday marks two weeks that the new Muskingum County Center for Seniors has been open.
The new facility on 4th Street replaced the one located off of Route 40 east of Zanesville. Executive Director Ann Combs said they are seeing more people at the new location than anticipated.
“Two weeks of happy seniors that have been welcomed into this new building. It has been exciting, thrilling. It has met the needs of our community. We’re thrilled that we are finding more and more seniors each day,†said Combs.
Combs said they are seeing at least ten new faces at the facility. Judy Buck went to the old facility but said she finds the downtown building much more convenient. She said she has lunch there every day.
“It’s easier to get here. It’s closer to us. We live further out North. And it’s just easier to get to. I just like everything about this facility. It’s just a wonderful place,†said Buck.
