The Zanesville man charged in connection with the largest heroin bust in local history changed his plea to guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. The Prosecutor’s Office says that 36-year-old Timothy Matson was facing multiple charges including possession of heroin, possession of meth and having a weapon while under disability. Matson told Judge Mark Fleegle that he wished to waive a pre-sentence investigation and he was given 14 years in prison. He was also fined $17,500, ordered to forfeit just under $19,000 in currency, his 2004 hummer vehicle, a firearm and all other items seized in the case. Zanesville Police say Matson was arrested in January after a bust at 807 Larzelere Avenue that resulted in the seizure of $105,000 in heroin, $25,000 in meth, $3000 dollars in marijuana as well as cash, a gun and a vehicle
