Maysville girls beat Canton Central Catholic 56-39

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — The Maysville Lady Panthers defeated the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 56-39 on Saturday night as part of the Route 40 Classic at West Muskingum.
It was a big week for the Lady Panthers. On Tuesday the OHSAA release their first girls basketball AP Poll of the season , ranking Maysville #4 in Division-II. However, just the following night, they were handed their first loss of the season– falling 49-45 on the road to Morgan– after starting the season 11-0.
Despite a slow start in the first half, coach Pat Miller’s team bounced back on Saturday with the 17-point victory.
Macie Jarrett lead all Panthers with 10 points at halftime, though the Lady Panthers were only able to build a five-point lead heading into the locker room.
Three Panthers scored in double-figures. Macie Jarrett lead Maysville with 14 points. Rylie Winsor added 13, and Eden Radde added 11. Radde scored seven of her 11 points in the third quarter, in which Maysville outscored Canton Central Catholic 18-10 to help pad their lead.
Crusader senior Ashley Schott lead all scorers on the night with 16.
The Maysville Lady Panthers play again on Monday when they host Sheridan.
