Meadowbrook downs Oak Glen, advances to OVAC final

BYESVILLE, Ohio — Meadowbrook rolled past Oak Glen (WV) on Tuesday night by a final of 83-47 to advance to OVAC 4-A tournament final.

The Colts jumped on top of the Golden Bears early, opening up a 20-8 lead after the first quarter, and things didn’t get any better for Oak Glen.

Meadowbrook followed up the first eight minutes by outscoring the Bears 22-9 in the second quarter to take a 42-17 lead into the locker room. Trey Singleton scored 19 of his 30 points on the night in the first half– and didn’t even play in the fourth quarter.

With the win, the Colts move on the final where they will face Steubenville who they beat 74-45 back on February 6th.
