Millersport Community Theatre Brings Back “Anything Goes” for Milestone Season

Millersport Community Theatre 2026 Anything Goes

MILLERSPORT, OH – A local community theatre is celebrating 50 years in the community and their upcoming July production is helping to keep the celebration going.

On July 10th through the 12th The Millersport Community Theatre will perform “Anything Goes” in the Millersport Elementary School theater.

Josh Whetstone, the Director, says the show is a callback to the golden age of theater with many twists and turns along the way.

“A couple people from New York who get into a rambunctious time on a boat, a couple stowaways, the classic twisting and turnings and things you’d think of in those modern age, or the golden age area, storylines.” Whetstone said. “At the end of the day it’s a lot of good wholesome fun too, so that’s what I would say it’s pretty much about.”

This show is also the only production to be repeated by the Theatre in the 50 years of their existence.

Whetstone was in that production and says it’s been an amazing experience being in the directors seat.

“I have a lot of ideas of how I want to do this, but they have a tremendous amount of assets there and I have in no way been doing this by myself.” Whetstone said. “They have a tremendous board of people that have chipped in and almost been there more than I have, at times. They’ve done a really nice job, we actually utilize Millersport Elementary’s full theater, and we have actually built a boat on the set so, it’s pretty awesome.”

Tickets for “Anything Goes” can be purchased by using the QR code or by heading to the Millersport Community Theatre’s website.
