Missing Woman Located

A missing elderly woman from Licking County has been located.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said that Carol Swick was found in a cornfield at the rear of her property around 3:45 Friday morning. She was treated for minor injures and was reunited with her family.

Emergency personnel searched into the night for Swick. She was reported missing in the 9000 block of Blacksnake Road in Utica Thursday night.

Swick had left her daughter’s residence around 7 PM to make a short walk down the road to her home. She never arrived at her desitnation.

Swick suffers from advanced stages of dementia.
