Muskingum County Fair To Resume

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Muskingum County Fair is making its grand return this year after taking a COVID absence in 2020.
The fair board is excited to announce that the fair will run from August 15th to August 21st. The return of youth fair programs is a point of pride for the board.
“The dates for the fair will be August 15th through the 21st, this will be our 175th fair, so we’re really looking forward to it and celebrating that fair… we’re very excited to have the fair opened back up this year. We really missed it last year. We want to see the 4-H and junior fair come back. We’re looking for that core of our business to be back in shape again.”, fair board president Dave Kreis told reporters.
The fair is also signifying a return to live music for the area. Two up and coming country music stars will be the headliners for this year.
“We have lined up, this ‘ll be on Tuesday night this year instead of Friday night because of scheduling, but we have Hardy and Travis Denning. These are new and upcoming stars in the country music field, and we feel like they are going to put on quite the show for us at the fair.”, Kreis said of the guests.
Tickets for the musical act goes on sale on Saturday, April 3rd.
