Muskingum Drops Doubleheader to #1 Marietta College

The Muskingum College Muskies dropped a doubleheader to the top-ranked Marietta College Pioneers. The Pioneers won Game 1 by a score of 19-8. Damian Yenzi led Marietta with six RBI’s in the win while sophomore Gavin Hawk tallied four RBI’s for Muskingum.

The Muskies fell 10-8 in Game 2. Dominic Gorence had a big day at the plate as he went 3-4 with two home runs and five RBI’s. Quinten Collins also went 3-4 with a pair of RBI’s in the loss.

Up next, the Muskies will be on the road to face off against Ohio Northern in a doubleheader. Game One is slated to start at 1:00 p.m.
