Muskingum EMA: Zero Confirmed Coronavirus Cases/4 Persons under Investigation

This is the latest update from the Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center. Please be
aware this situation is being followed consistently and is ever-changing.
• 0 Confirmed Cases
• 4 Persons Under Investigation (PUI): defined as individuals who have been tested for
COVID-19 and whose laboratory results are pending. These individuals have shown
symptoms of respiratory illness.
• 4 Negative PUI: defined as individuals who have tested negative for COVID-19 and for
whom no further follow up is needed.
• 2 Under Health Supervision: defined as individuals referred to the Ohio to Department
of Health for monitoring; includes travelers who have completed their self-monitoring
period. These individuals are not showing symptoms of illness.

a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday-Sunday.

Churches: No face-to-face services and group activities.

• Tests for COVID-19 must be ordered by a physician.
• If you have a fever, new cough, or shortness of breath, call ahead of time before
going in person to any healthcare provider. If you don’t have a family doctor, call
the Genesis NurseLine at (740) 455-4949.
• Birth/Death Records Services Closed: To prevent the spread of illness, walk-in services
for birth/death records will be closed beginning 3/17 until further notice. Apply online
(www.zmchd.org) by phone (740-454-9741) by mail (no charge for regular postage) or
by email (records@zmchd.org).
