Muskingum looking to close out season with win over Wilmington

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – This hasn’t been a banner year for the Muskingum (1-8, 0-7) football team, but they’ll look to close out 2017 on a high note with a home win against Wilmington (2-7, 1-7).
Despite having just two wins this year, this has been the best Quaker season in almost a decade. 2008 was the last time they won more than two games. The Quakers two wins came in week one and then week three when they beat Earlham and Capital, respectively.
The Muskies are coming off their worst loss of the season, falling to second ranked Mount Union 59-7. Saturday they’ll be looking to bookend their season with victories after they’ve dropped every game since winning their season opener.
Kickoff from McConagha Stadium is at 1 p.m.
