Muskingum Recreation Center host breakfast with Santa

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Santa took a break from the workshop in the North Pole to have breakfast at the Muskingum Recreation Center Saturday morning.
The breakfast took place in the gym. After breakfast kids were able to do crafts, decorate cookies, and sit on Santa’s lap and tell him their Christmas wish list.
“Being that it’s the Christmas holiday we wanted to do something special for our members and non members here of the MRC,” Aquatic and Sport Manager, Libby Hardwick said. “It’s a special way to get the family together spend some quality time. We’re also focusing on fitness and fun games and activities that everybody can do as a family.”
The breakfast served treats such as pancakes, french toast sticks, sausage links, and beverages were provided by Cafe 443.
“We had a great turn out. I think the members are appreciative of the event and hopefully next year we can have it to be bigger,” Harwick said.
40 families participated in this year’s breakfast with Santa. Hardwick said since this year was such a success, she hopes to make this an annual event.
