Neutral sites for district semi-finals
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The three boys basketball teams in the district semi-finals now know where they’ll be playing.
In Division IV Bishop Rosecrans won their first two games over St. John Central and Conotton Valley at Rogge Gymnasium. They’ll now be playing at neutral sites the rest of the tournament. Tuesday they’ll play fourth seeded Malvern at Meadowbrook High School. That games tips at 7 p.m.
John Glenn’s first three tournament games were played on home grounds. They take on Buckeye Local, who upset Steubenville, in the district semi-finals on Wednesday. That game will be at Indian Valley High School at 7 p.m.
West Muskingum’s path to the semi-finals was much easier. They just had to beat Harrison Central at home, which they did 57-56. They’ll now play second seeded Hiland on Tuesday at Tri-Valley High School. Game tips at 7 p.m.
The Tri-Valley’s girls are the last MVL team in the tournament. They won their district and advanced to the regional tournament. They’ll play first seeded Bishop Hartley on Tuesday at Zanesville High School at 8 p.m.
