New divisional break downs for high school basketball

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The OHSAA has announced their new divisional break downs for winter sports.
For most area team their boys and girls basketball teams stay in the same division as last year. One team to make a big jump is the Tri-Valley girls basketball team. The regining MVL champion Scotties go from Division II up to Division I.
The Zanesville Blue Devils on the other hand move down from D1 to DII in both boys and girls basketball.
This was the first time that Competitive Balance roster data was used in determining divisional alignments in basketball. The following is a list of area high schools and what division they are now in. After the school name in parentheses is what division they were in during the 2016-2017 school year.
