New Lexington Girl’s Continue Hot Start to Season
DUNCAN FALLS, OH-
New Lexington Philo at the Power Plant. Electrics going for their first win of the season.
Early first quarter Bailey Dement finds a wide open Olivia Dement and the senior guard drills the triple.
Philo had the three ball working early, Aleigha Busse kicks it to Kennedy Rinkes and she was money from downtown. Electrics off to an 8-0 lead.
Later in the quarter New Lexington in transition Aubri Spicer lays it up she had the left hand working tonight.
The panthers went on a nice 12-0 run. This is Kim Kellogg using the nice dribble moves and finished up and under.
Olivia Beaulieu now gets a nice finish, leads to a timeout.
Philo out of the break Dement tosses it the length of the floor to Caitlyn Rose and the center lays it in.
But new Lexington would take off with this one. Spicer again just has she’s done for so many years with the finish. Panthers led 18-13 after a quarter, but would break it open winning with a final score of 62-38.
