Newark hands Tri-Valley second loss of the season

DRESDEN, Ohio – The MVL leading Tri-Valley Scotties were handed their first loss in over a month on Wednesday night.

In a game that was postponed from Tuesday, the Newark Wildcats jumped out to a 12 point halftime lead over the Scotties. The Cats kept up their pace in the second half to win 54-41.

Newark’s JT Shumate’s 22 points lead all scorers. Matt King was the only Scottie in double-figures with 10 points.

The Scotties are now 8-2 on the season.
