Ohio State up to 13th in latest AP Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State Buckeyes have moved up nine spots in the AP Poll after jumping from no. 22 to no. 13 in the latest rankings released on Monday.
Ohio State is coming off a week in which they defeated Northwestern 71-65 in Evanston, followed by a victory over Minnesota at Madison Square Garden to the tune of 67-49. Coach Chris Holtmann and his team are now 17-4 on the season, and 8-0 in Big Ten play.
The Buckeyes have won seven games in a row, and 12 of their last 13. The Scarlet and Gray now have four straight home games against Nebraska, Penn State, Indiana, and Illinois before they travel to West Lafayette to face no. 3 Purdue on February 7th. The Boilermakers are also 8-0 in conference play, tying them for first place in the Big Ten with the Buckeyes.
Other Big Ten teams in the top 25 include Michigan State at no. 6, and no. 25 Michigan.
Ohio State hosts Nebraska at the Value City Arena on Monday night.
