Ohio State doesn’t crack top 4 of first college football playoff rankings

The College Football Playoff Committee released their inaugural playoff rankings of the year and Ohio State finds themselves currently on the outside looking in.

The 7-1 Buckeyes come in at sixth. The top four teams at the end of the season will make the College Football Playoff. This is a contrast from the Associated Press poll, where the Buckeyes ranked third.
