Once Upon a Christmas IX Returns to the Secrest Auditorium for a Good Cause
ZANESVILLE, oh – The ninth annual Once Upon a Christmas show returns December 10th.
Once Upon a Christmas Nine, We Three Kings, is a variety show that high lights dancers, singers, actors and more. With 60 talented cast members of all ages, the Once Upon a Christmas show will be happening December 10th at the Secrest Auditorium at 2 and 7pm.
“It means a lot to me. I cried like the whole first half the other night because we became a family over the past nine years. I’ve watched some kids grow up on this stage that are now 17, 18, and 19 years old. And it’s just a sense of community.” One Upon a Christmas Writer and Director, Shelly Burley said.
There is expected to be at least 600 people to attend this Christmas variety show. The cost to experience this Christmas musical is $15 at the door, all proceeds will be going to Christ’s Table to feed the homeless or the homebound, and anybody else who is in need.
According to Christ’s Table executive director Keely Warden, enough money was gathered to serve 500,000 meals over the last 9 years.
“I don’t even think the cast and crew realize how many people they touch with their love and their generosity and the energy that they put into this show.” The Christ’s Table executive director Keely Warden said. “We so appreciate the fact that year after year Shelly writes this beautiful show, this cast comes back together, we see new people, and it’s just great to be able to spread the word with them as to what Christ’s Table’s doing and the impact that they’re making in this community.” Warden stated.
