Over 1,000 north side residents without electricity

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – American Electric Power is reporting that more than 1,000 customers in the north end of Zanesville are without power Wednesday evening.

Initial reports indicate that a problem with a transformer at Military Road and Kearns Road is responsible for the outages. The area affected is north of Country Club Drive. AEP crews have been called and are working on the situation.
