Pet of the week: Cloud

Doggo

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – At Green Valley Golf Club Friday morning, a cloud was a happy sight at the golf course. However, this was not a cloud in the sky.

Meet Cloud, a 4-year-young beagle who has an exciting energy, great personality, and loves a good belly rub. Animal Shelter Society Board Member, Stephanie Hill said Cloud would make a great family pet, and beagles are great around kids.

Hill said, “So this is Cloud, she is a 4-year-old beagle. She is a great sweet little dog but she also has a lot of energy. Although, as you can see, she also likes to cuddle.” Hill added, “Beagles are great family pets. They are great with kids. She definitely wants to get down and just run around so even if you have children, I think she would be the kind of dog to get down and run around the backyard with them and just really have a good time.”

Cloud’s adoption fee is $130. She is up to date on shots, micro-chipped and spayed. The Animal Shelter Society is also preparing for their golf tournament fundraiser at Green Valley Golf Club.

Animal Shelter Society Board Member, Josh Agin said “It’s just going to be a golf tournament that day, but there is many different ways to get involved through sponsorships or even to be a volunteer that day. We have plenty of room and we are still pushing to get teams and sponsors so if you want to participate, go to the Animal Shelter’s Facebook page and get information.”

The first annual Putt-4-Paws Golf Tournament is July 20th, for more information about the tournament you can call (740) 452-1077.
