Philo opens season with home win over Crooksville

PHILO, Ohio – Both Philo and Crooksville have high expectations for the year as they opened up Muskingum Valley League play last night at the Power Plant.

The Ceramics already had one game under their belt, a win last week over Fisher Catholic. For Philo this was their first game of the year.

The Electrics jumped out to a seven point half time lead and they roll to a 70-53 victory. Cody Butler, Isaac Gill, and Cole Smith all had 13 points in the Philo win.

Up next for the Electrics is a road game Saturday against Morgan. Crooksville plays Maysville next Friday on the road.
