Polar Bears Defeat Muskingum on Road

The Ohio Northern Polar Bears defeated the Muskingum Muskies in men’s soccer Saturday night by a score of 4-0. Shutting out the Muskies, was in large part due to the way Ohio Northern was able to take advantage of every offensive opportunity presented to them.

Within the first ten minutes of regulation, it was quickly 2-0 Polar Bears. Ohio Northern goals were scored by Sam Mckee and Levi King. A costly penalty defensively by Muskingum in the box would set up a penalty kick for Levi King and he would convert to make it 3-0 Ohio Northern. The final goal of the game for the Polar Bears came in the 36th minute on a fast break scored by Trevor Tabb, to make it 4-0 Ohio Northern.

Muskingum falls to 3-9 overall. The Muskies will travel to Mount Union, Wednesday, October, 9th at 7:00pm.
