Rea and Associates Host Pie-In-The-Face to Defeat ALS
ZANESVILLE, OH – Rea & Associates hosted a Pie-In-The-Face To Defeat ALS Fundraiser earlier this afternoon.
The fundraiser was held in honor of a Rea & Associates partner from their Dublin office who passed away earlier this year from ALS.
“It was driven off of Tim McDaniel, the partner that was in our Dublin office. He was diagnosed with ALS just a couple of years ago and in that process he really fought it well. But it is a debilitating disease that takes over your life real fast and he was a strong champion for ALS research. And so that was a cause that Rea & Associates felt was important to him and therefore important to us,” Rea & Associates Partner Mark Beebe said.
Several local business owners and community members participated in the event to help raise money for the ALS Association. Beebe shares why they decided to host this event.
“We at Rae & Associates feel that it’s important to give back to our communities and to help out where we can, and this is just one way of doing that. We want to create awareness for ALS in this process and to help others to understand that it’s a disease that doesn’t have a cure and it also doesn’t have any treatment that helps to slow down the progression of the disease.”
