REPORT: Joe Burrow picks LSU

CINCINNATI, Ohio – A report from Tom Groeschen of the Cincinnati Enquire says that former Buckeye quarterback Joe Burrow has selected LSU as his transfer destination.

Two weeks ago Burrow, an Athens native, announced that he was leaving Ohio State as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility. Reports said that he had meet with LSU and Cincinnati and that he narrowed down his choices to those two schools.

Ed Orgeron’s LSU Tigers have four quarterbacks listed on their roster, but it is likely that Burrow will be the leader to take the starting job.

LSU opens the season Sept. 2 against Miami.
