Rollover Accident Closes Potts Lane

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A rollover accident on Wednesday closed Potts Lane for about an hour.

The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Potts Lane between Dad’s Road and Coopermill Road. Trooper Jordan Butler with the Zanesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that a Jeep Liberty was heading southbound on Potts Lane when he went on the right side of the road, flipped several times, and came to rest on his left side.

South Zanesville Fire Department was the first to arrive on the scene and with help from Newton Township Fire Department they cut the victim free from the car. He was the only person in the car.

The victim was transported to Genesis. Trooper Butler could not speculate on the injuries but said they didn’t appear life threatening. The road is now open.
