Rosecrans Rolls Past Lady Cardinals

In the opening round of the Division III girls soccer playoff game between Rosecrans and Sandy Valley, The Lady Bishops stomped the Lady Cardinals 6-1. A defensive effort paved the way through the first half . Already leading the match 1-0 nearing halftime, Kathleen Zemba netted the Bishops second goal in the first half to increase Rosecrans lead to 2-0. Sandy Valley would respond off a Julie Parker goal to make it 2-1. Shortly after, with under 2 minutes to play in the first half, Rosecrasns scored again to make it 3-1 Bishops at halftime.

The Bishops would double their scoring input in the second half, as they came out firing to finalize a 6-1 score. Rosecrans advances to the next round of the DIII playoffs with their next opponent, October, 26th with time and location TBD.
